Cómo hacer frente a los síntomas físicos del tratamiento contra el cáncer: consejos y estrategias

Los tratamientos oncológicos a menudo pueden provocar una variedad de síntomas físicos, desde náuseas hasta fatiga. Si bien estos síntomas pueden ser desagradables, existen estrategias que puede utilizar para controlarlos y mejorar su calidad de vida.

Náuseas y vómitos

  • Tome medicamentos antieméticos según las indicaciones de su médico.
  • Coma comidas pequeñas y frecuentes en lugar de comidas abundantes.
  • Evite los alimentos grasos, picantes o ácidos.
  • Beba muchos líquidos, especialmente agua y bebidas electrolíticas.
  • Pruebe técnicas de relajación como la respiración profunda o la visualización.

Fatiga

  • Duerma lo suficiente, de 7 a 9 horas por noche.
  • Realice actividad física regular, incluso si es solo una caminata corta.
  • Divida las tareas grandes en tareas más pequeñas y más manejables.
  • Pida ayuda a familiares o amigos cuando la necesite.

Pérdida de cabello

Dolor

Cambios en el apetito

Cambios en el estado de ánimo
